Shawon “Emeral” Jones, who goes professionally by artist name Emeral Eden is a self taught artist specializing in pastel and mixed media works. She is currently based in Atlanta, Ga.

Creating tales as old as time for the wondering soul, searching for their way back home.

Emeral's style is a blend of fantasy and surrealism. Exploring themes such as forgiveness, detachment, change and transformation. She combines colorful illustrations with whimsical short stories to create immersive worlds where the viewer can join magical beings on their journey to self acceptance and oneness.

She is most known for her unique use of textures and special effects. A few of her collections include no to minimum brushwork such as the Children of the Tree and Mushroom Collection. She creates multidimensional detail with the use of just a dropper and tweezers!
