Emeral Eden: Painter. Storyteller.

Shawon “Emeral” Jones, who goes professionally by artist name Emeral Eden is a self taught artist specializing in mixed media and large scale abstract pieces. She is currently based in Atlanta, Ga.

The Abstract and The Usual.

Her style is a cross between the fantasy and the metaphysical world. She is most known for her unique use of textures and special effects. Many of her pieces include no to minimum brushwork. She creates multidimensional detail with the use of just a dropper and tweezers! Subject matters include esoteric beings and symbolism: faeries, angels, sacred geometry, nature and much more.

A prominent feature that is showcased throughout her work is the “Eye”. As someone who has battled through depression, the eye serves as a very important reminder to look no further….than within. The magic that you seek already exists inside one’s own Universe! Uni(one)ver(true)se(self). Those that are courageous enough to venture into the abyss…are born anew!
